Nice is a French city located on the southern coast on the Mediterranean Sea between Marseille in France and Genoa in Italy. Nice is served by the Nice Côte d'Azur Airport, which is the third largest airport in France. On the outskirts of Nice can be found the Jardin botanique de la Ville de Nice, a botanical garden that was constructed in 1983, initially 100 varieties of plants were introduced and propagated before the garden was opened to the public in 2001.
